WW2 Ealing civilian casualties
Now that the impressive Remembrance Day commemoration events are over perhaps it is not too late to remember and pay tribute to the unsung heroes of the civilian population of Ealing who lost their lives during the 1940 'Blitz' and subsequent V1 Flying Bomb attacks from which the borough suffered considerable destruction. In total, 489 people were killed and a further 754 severely injured, some of whom subsequently succumbed to add to that figure. They also served.
