Royal British Legion Fundraiser for 2014 Poppy Appeal

The Castle Inn , South Ealing is once again holding a fundraiser evening for this year's RBL Poppy Appeal . To be held on 8 November from 7pm onwards. Compered by the forces sweetheart Ms Martha D'Arthur and with live music from The Buttercups all tied up with a World War/Uniform Fancy Dress theme. There will be a poppy sale , an auction and a raffle along with prizes for the best outfits. Entry is FREE and the fun will carry on until 1am. Last year was a tremendous success and the aim this year is to be bigger and better.  So come on down and join in the fun for what is guaranteed to be a great evening and help put the fun back in fundraising !

Tonight is the night people of Ealing ! Even if you pop in for a quick drink and to savour the atmosphere , it would be much appreciated . One of the auction prizes is a ceramic Poppy from the Tower of London which will be handed to the lucky winning bidder in the New Year . We already have email bids coming in for that ! Here's to a wonderful evening and hoping a few of you can make it

Nothing shameful in raising funds for the legion, my father marched at the cenotaph every year up to his passing, personally I lost friends on HMS Sheffield, a wonderful thing your doing thank you
