Alfred in Bloomfield is the best.

Yes, like Marjory, I have used N.Kay's in Leeland Road (albeit several years ago) and they were very good indeed.

I have always found Kays on South Ealing Road to be very helpful when getting old and (to me) valuable jewellery repaired. They were the only people prepared to clean and repair my grandfather's pocket watch and they got it ticking. I have recommended them to many friends and they are all still speaking to me so Kays must be good!

Very much agree that Mr Alfred Winicki(spelling?) in the delightful little shop/showroom in Broomfield Road W13 (just north of St John's Church in Mattock Lane) is a fine jewellery designer - fascinating shop.

If you care to venture further afield, to Whitton, there is a truly fabulous jewellers there called L Guess - its a family run shop, friendly, helpful and with some fabulous jewellery too!

Alfred in Broomfield Road.Long established and highly recommended by me and, mostly, by my wife who has been a regular customer this last 20 years or so since Miles closed down near Daniels on the Uxbridge Road. http://www.alfredwiniecki.com/

I used a postal service in Dundee called the Jewellery Doctor to repair my wife's ornate white gold wedding ring which had to be cut off when she broke her wrist. The service was superb and you cant' see any evidence of repair. Their price was less than half that quoted by local jewellers.http://www.jewellerydoctor.co.uk/http://www.jewellerydoctor.co.uk/jewellery-repair-price-list.asp
