One name currently doing the rounds is WINE- Wales, Northern Ireland and England. I like it.

Well, I guess it will be the island of Britain, much as Ireland is the island of Ireland.

What about the entity that may very shortly have formerly been known as Great Britain? What is to become of that if the Scots make the wrong decision today?

I don't see the problem at all with the name. We'll just be the United Kingdom of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Is this possible break up just the start? One hears that Anglesey is not too happy with Westminster Government either. I wonder why. Aren't the Shetlands wanting to link up with Norway as well?Maybe we'll have to get used to this image.

While Wales and Northern Ireland are still part of the Union, as far as I am concerned we are still the UK.

rUK seems to be the abbreviation in use by the press - particularly in Scotland.Looks uncomfortable to me. "r" I think is for rest or perhaps rump?
