Just sit down and enjoy your coffee!Urban irritation number 351, people stumbling around the streets, glazed eyes, oblivious to their surroundings, sucking from buckets of crappy coffee ....

I've bought some ceramic ones with plastic tops so that I don't have to accept ie can avoid the take-away ones but I suspect that I'll still manage to tip the coffee down my front. Back to a straw!Gerry Interesting what you say about hating plastic coffee mugs. I bought a reusable microwaveable plastic mug with lid for Grandad to heat soup in. The idea is that you heat it in the mug and then drink out of it. But he won't because it is plastic. That idea didn't work on another front either. I've discovered that neither he or his other elderly friends can undo the clips on the lids (the sort that are on many reuseable plastic tubs). Back to the drawing board.

I don't like plastic coffee mugs. There's nothing like a good simple ceramic cup for coffee and a decent spoon - that's what sipping a good coffee is all about imo. Can't abide plastic coffee mugs. Each to their own I guess.
