Refuse collection

Hello what is going on with the refuse collection on tree estate in south Ealing  the black sacks is ok but the recycle is all over the place one week there come at 9 oclock the next week 4 oclock in the afternoon sometimes the next day and as yet there have not been hear  and todays wednesday and our collection day is monday so what's going on does anybody no I keep reporting it but that a waste of time

There are two pick-ups of refuse in our road - one for general household rubbish and the other for recycled plastic bottles and other plastic material. The general waste is collected usually early morning, but the plastics collection varies sometimes early and sometimes late afternoon. The refuse men don't seem to drop much on the road like they used to do - they've improved imo.

Popes Lane seems to have an ongoing problem looking at the length of the thread and the schools are now back so there is extra traffic and waste and recycling.The problem earlier elsewhere in Ealing in the summer was apparently caused by them having to change their routes and start earlier because of all the roadworks going on in Southall.It seems the best way to find out is to ask the operatives - although I don't think it should be - as there should be liaison between Ealing Council who should have overall supervision of this sub-contract is working.If not/after that or as well as - try asking your local Councillors:http://www.ealing.gov.uk/info/200033/councillors

Strangely mine has got earlier and my refuse and recycling was 'gone' by 08:30. Perhaps they have changed the routing.

It's getting later each week here, near The Common. Last night it was almost dark when they finally got to us!
