As far as I am aware the law in this land means that a person is INNOCENT until proven guilty. Recently this seems to have changed to trial by media. When Yorkshire Police decided to raid Cliff Richard's apartment they took it upon themselves to allow the BBC full access to this event, even going so far as to provide then with information on which entrance to use together with an aerial photograph of the building. This would lead one to assume that YSP fully expected thr BBC to have a helicopter on site. In fact the BBC were so keen they arrived at the location hours before the police. To make matter worse they spent the TV Licence payers money on sending a reporter all the way to Portugal. It would appear that both the BBC and YSP had a presumption of guilt. At this point Sir Cliff had not even been approached by SYP, instead they raided an empty apartment, what the helk did theh think...that Cliff was holed up there like a gangster? As you are probably aware Cliff returned to the UK to be interviewed by YSP but he has NOT, I repeat NOT been arrested or charged. I can assure you that this would not have been the case had YSP got anything on him.A QC, an MP and a Magistrate have all agreed that the action carried out by YSP and thr BBC was totally wrong, in fact the raid may even be illegal because the name of the accused was released even before he was interviewed by the police. The raid was televised across the globe again putting thr cart before the horse. If a Magistrate had been aware that BBC cameras would have been present YSP may not have been granted permission to carry out the raid.Of course people have their own views and are entitled to them but it is sickening to see a persson's good name destroyed forever because of 1 as unproven allegation, yet the accuser hides behind anonymity.  This can happen to anyone whether I the public view or a private individual and yes, lives and relationships have been destroyed because of revenge, jealousy, greed, mental issues, so just be aware that Cliff is not the only person to suffer this fate.I am proud to say I have followed Cliff's career since 1958, he has never put a foot wrong in all these years, his fans and non fans alike stand by him and we hope and pray that the nightmare is over for him soon.If the accuser was any kind of a ma  he wold come out from his hiding place anc be counted. Sir Cliff does't even have a clue who his assuser is. This law shoukd be changed, the law is an ASS.SYP are guilty of neglecting their duty towards the children who were abused, the sams police force was responsible for tne Hillsborough disaster whicn they lied through their teeth about. Hope they get what is coming to them!As for the BBC I shall just say Jimmy Saville, remember how they covered up for him?
