Looking for a Garden type space for some youngsters
Hello all, I am currently working at Insights School and Skills academy we are a service that specialises in behaviour management. Along with the Duke of Edinburgh Award, I am running an enrichment programme to help some of the children who find spending all day pent up in a classroom difficult. This will involve doing various outdoor activities that can be related to their curriculum and keep them learning whilst being out and about. Teaching them social interaction as well as behaviour management. I am looking for a green space that I can bring some children to once of twice a week for an hour or two. That we can turn into a vegetable patch or just a space to do some gardening. The messier the better, the more we have to clear the better it will be and will provide them with a real sense of achievement. Does anyone have any ideas? Im thinking community centres, churches, or even peoples gardens? Thoughts and opinions are welcome Thanks Iain
