Fair weather forecast.

It looks as if we're in for some decent weather in the next few days(at least in the London area). A pleasant 'Indian summer' ahead. A good time to get all those outside jobs done, before the autumn and winter set in. What's your most urgent outside job? What's the one you most detest?  Just curious.

Picking up all the leaves and "keys" that fly in from the oversized sycamore in the garden backing onto mine. It irritates me every year and whilst I can understand why people with large gardens may have the plenty of room for large trees, I wish they wouldn't plant them so close to boundaries to neighbours who don't have anything like as space.

We're hoping to get a patio laid at the bottom of the garden if I can get the contractor to give me a start date.
