NHS Geography Lesson required.

Today I received an envelope with the NHS logo from the "Shaping a Healthier Future" award winning team. It tells me that my nearest A&Es are in Northwick Park Hospital, St Mary's Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital. They are not. Gives me great confidence that this team have been let loose on shaping my healthier future. What do you think?

All those involved in this need to be named and shamed.It would be nice to know just where all these 'expert' advisors actually live and not just their London pied a terre.

Quite.What thy have done is to list the hospitals which they plan to keep open and not those which they plan to close.Self fulfilling prophecy.You can just see it now can't you:      "We closed Ealing hospital because nobody knew it was there."

I have now had the same leaflet delivered on three successive days.Would that they had actually spent the wasted money on delivering services rather than incorrect leaflets.

To one's GP initially I guess. Is there such a thing as a local clinic for mental problems?

Gerry,Same for me so why all this waste of money telling me something that is incorrect. This team give me a headache.The next big question is where do you go if you or a loved one has a suspected mental health problem? Anyone know?

Where are your nearest A&Es Arthur? I think mine are at Ealing Hosp and Isleworth.
