Rubbish Exhibition

Not the local streets this time!http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/visitmuseum/Plan_your_visit/exhibitions/rubbish_collection.aspxThe second part of this is on now.  The Science Museum has free entry.And they do have other things there.  I used to spend a lot of time there with small children in the hands-on areas but it is best to go early or late to those.

I went to this yesterday with members of The Rubbish Diet and we had a very interesting discussion with the Curator of this Exhibition.They make an awful lot of rubbish at the Science Museum!  There was I worrying about a small office's cardboard and paper recycling and the Science Museum makes 7.5 tonnes of cardboard and paper waste in a month.  16,000 cans in a month...  And there are some very odd and unusual things thrown away there amongst which are the number of whole apples which appear in their bins...
