Booking theatre tickets online

I've always been put off booking theatre tickets online as they always add on a booking fee, then a handling charge and a cc surcharge. Suddenly two £30 tickets are over £100. Add on train tickets, drinks and a meal and it's second mortgage time.ButLast week I received an email from last minute.com offering discounted tickets at top shows with no fees.As I'm leaving London in a few weeks, I thought I'd take advantage of the offer.I booked 2 tickets in the stalls for the revival of Miss Saigon. Sure enough, I was charged £55 (for 2!) - no booking fees or surcharges.We went last night and had a fabulous time as was as powerful as when we saw it back in 1989.Worth checking the last minute.com website  if you're planning  air wanting to  see a West End show

In case anyone wants to see billy elliot without travelling into the west end and paying theatre prices on the 28th September it's being streamed live into cinemas across Europe the nearest to Ealing being westfield, but beware it's a 3and a 1/2 hour screening so not to many drinks before entry

Thanks guys. Yes, the pavillion does the occasional show so I look forward to that. Plus the local picture house was closed and due to be turned into flats or offices. Local opposition and a fundraiser has caused the council to do a u turn so looks like bexhill will get a new cinema soon.In the meantime there is an outdoor screening area which sounds like fun.If anyone wants to see the last minute.com email , pm me and I'll forward it
