North Korea embassy

Taken from the Guardian's website which was posted online at 12.03 pm. The North Korean embassy has accrued more than £200,000 worth of unpaid traffic-related fine. It has been reported that the DPNKR has built up debts of up debts of £194,565 since 2003 for failing to pay the congestion charge. It also owes£10,320 in parking fines from 2013. Despite a lack of frequent diplomatic engagements and a fleet of just two cars, North Korea’s London parking fines for 2013 were eighth worst out of the 49 offenders listed in the parliamentary stats.It begs the question whether the visit to the barber in South Ealing Road was a diplomatic engagement!

"Diplomatic immunity - see American Embassy debt which is in the thousands of pounds!"More subtlely, the embassies are claiming that the congestion charge is a tax, and therefore they're exempt, while TfL point out that it's a charge for driving in a certain area at certain times in certain vehicles, and therefore they're not exempt any more than they're exempt from tube fares.This works up until the point a few years ago where Boris forgot where he was and called it a tax, which is possibly why TfL are reluctant to take it to court, in case he's called as a witness by the Yanks or something.

They are claiming immunity from local taxes and we are too chicken to test this in law.

Parking fines are the blunt tool of the Imperialist running dogs and are only used to prevent citizens of PRK spreading the joy of the knowledge of the Glorious Leader.I'd weld their bloody gates shut so they can't use their Mercedes Benz's (doesn't say a lot for PRK cars does it)until they play by the rules.
