Car cleaning in Ealing.

Which is the best car cleaning place in Ealing - the full works, vacuum clean inside and inside windows cleaned and leather work polished - oh and near a cafe where one can have a decent coffee while waiting please? Thanks.

Gerry there is only 1 company locally that wash correctly and use snow foam. They are car detailers and are called Rainbow.It is also by one of the most famous cafe's in the land if not the world....the Ace Cafe. I haven't read any of the answers to your question so hopefully someone else hasn't recommended already. To get to them head down the north circ, take the exit slip for the Ace and turn left at the top. You pass Rainbow which is set back and next to a tire dealer as you drive to the Ace. Drop car at Rainbow and walk to the Ace which is 30secs away. Rainbow do the normal clean inside and out but can also do paint correction(polishing all the swirls and scratches out) and waxing. I would not recommend anyone else as they will use dirty clothes and sponges that create the swirl marks.

Don't know about Gliptone but I have used Mer Gold on shoes and a leather blouson with no issue.

Leather cleaning is really not that difficult.If you want to use some quality leather cleaners/restorers/conditioners then look up Gliptone Liquid Leather products.

Wouldn't let anyone without leather cleaning experience anywhere near car leather.Another vote for Mer products as their Gold leather cleaner/conditioner is superb.

I have used and been very satisfied with the service that operates in the space under the office block opposite Northfields tube.I am very dubious about letting these services anywhere near your leather seats though.A long time ago I was warned that the chemicals that they use have a tendency to rot the leather.Twice now in 25+ years I have relented and allowed them to clean the leather seats and twice now I have regretted it about a year or so later as the leather started to develop cracks and tears.I have also used the service at the Uxbridge Road end of Culmington Road and been very satisfied with them.  I used to go there regularly with a variety of vehicles over the years but it is some years since I last booked in with them so it is always possible that different people will be running it now.

Yes Debbie, I gave my car to our daughter two years ago and I don't drive now. My daughter is coming to visit us soon and we're going to get the car a through clean and later a full service. Well observed Debbie. Any more questions?

The Adriatic Hand Car Wash by the Iron Bridge is excellent. Outside only £5, in/out £10.Never had any complaints with them although I do tend to wash my car myself with a snowfoam sprayer and lots of microfibre cloths, followed by a nice coat of Mer organic polish (no nasty solvents and environmentally friendly).

I used the guys at Tesco Gillette Corner recently. Did a decent job at a reasonable price.
