New traveller's site

I noticed a tent and a collection of vans blocking Canberra Road between the back of Lidl and the side of O'Grady Court. Is this a traveller's site?  Someone has cleared Chignell Place. Who did that? Thought it was a dump before but now looks to be part of our coaching heritage....to receive a makeover and a new life. We raised the Library end of Canberra Road and the constant damage to the £400,000 paving slabs when the lorries cross Melbourne Ave 18 months ago. Nothing happened and now we have travellers blocking the road.

Who are the perhaps dodgy "people" at the very bottom end of Trumpters Way...off Boston Manor Road.The road is sealed off with a chained gate...and continues to an area between the Canal and the old Brunel railway.  It can be seen on Google Earth.An isolated settlement not to be trespassed I reckon!

Yes it has to provide 'pitches' by law Gerry and does so by providing 24 pitches at Bashley Road on the Park Royal Estate.I would use to term 'traveller friends' cautiously around those affected by the recent flytipping and trespass though as many cannot distinguish the difference between true 'travellers' like the English branches of true Romany and Gypsy families and the blight of Irish tinker tax-evaders, friends to no-one.

Where in our borough are the 'official' sites which allow our traveller friends to camp? By law does Ealing have to provide suitable places for 'travellers'?
