Alison Franklin

It is with great sadness that I inform the forum of the passing of Alison Franklin on 21st June at the, very young, age of 56 after a battle with cancer.Alison's post here were always entertaining and tinged with good humour. The 'battle with the mouse' still has me smiling.A tireless campaigner for people's rights and her beloved Brentford Football Club she will  missed by many.My condolences to her father George and her family and very many friends.May she Rest In Peace.

Thanks Nigel. I didn't have those details, only when the funeral was.  Alison was well loved amongst the West Ealing Neighbours crowd and we had great times together.  Always outspoken, but such wit and humour too.  She will be sadly missed.  I assume we can send the donation directly to the Funeral Directors?

Nigel, thank you for letting us know.I'm so sorry to hear that, the more so as I hadn't realised that Allison was unwell.Her posts about Brentford FC were always heartfelt and captivating and I always read threads where she contributed.RIP
