Ealing Property Sales - June 2014
Local house prices hit record levels in W5 and W13
Property prices in Ealing are trading at record levels according to the latest figures from the Land Registry.
Over the last year prices in the W5 post code area are up by 6.1% and in W13 they have risen by 17.2%
During the month of June there were 45 transactions at an average price of £695,889. Six of these were for over a million pounds, the most expensive of which was a property on Woodville Road which sold for £2,750,000.
In West Ealing (W13) there were 35 sales at an average of £661,390. Five of these were for over a million with the top priced being a house on Amherst Road which went for £1,575,000.
The average price in London during the month of June was £437,608 which is up by 16.4% compared with the same month in 2013. For England and Wales as a whole the average is now £172,011 compared with the peak of £181,466 in November 2007 up by 6.4%.
The most up-to-date figures available show that during April 2014 the number of completed house sales in England & Wales increased by 31 per cent to 66,659 compared with 51,022 in April 2013.
The number of properties sold in England and Wales for over £1 million in April 2014 increased by 39 per cent to 1,028 from 740 in April 2013.
The latest reported sales are given in the table below. The numbers below are subject to revision as is it usual that some properties are added late to the Land Registry's database.
