What's this All About?
The site is a joint venture between Ealing Centre Partnership and Neighbour Net Ltd.
Ealing Centre Partnership is responsible for the development of Ealing Town Centre as a Business Improvement District. It aims to cultivate a wider sense of involvement and ownership among the people who invest, live and work here.
Neighbour Net Ltd. is the U.K's leading developer of local, interactive, digital news and information media and is based in Ealing Borough. It already publishes sites in the area including www.ActonW3.com and www.ChiswickW4.com. These sites have over 8,000 registered members and the Chiswick site is the most active local digital community in the UK, if not Europe.
The site is not affiliated to any political group and has no editorial position. We welcome written contributions from any one with an interest in local matters.
What Happens Next?
The site is still being developed and more information and features will be added over the next few months.
If you live, work, invest or go out in Ealing you should register as a member of the site. This is free and when enough people are registered we will start issuing a regular news digest. So tell your friends and neighbours about the site.
