West Ealing Christmas Markets

Every Saturday throughout December

West Ealing is quietly famous for its creative types - and the outdoor craft market has been showing them off. Local people have been selling their home-made jewellery, cards, bags, ceramics, woolly headgear in the craft market during certain Saturdays for most of 2012.

As a grand finale for 2012, we’re today launching our December Christmas markets which will take place on Saturdays December 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd. (The craft market is a team effort, led by West Ealing Neighbours, with St James's Church and supported by Ealing Council.)

In addition to crafty cleverness, the new 'music-busking gazebo' has unearthed another rich seam of local creativity. For the December markets, we have been overwhelmed by applications from buskers who want to be part of this entirely voluntary, community venture.

December 22nd is for reflective, moving carols from the team at Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter - come and be part of that party of joy and thanksgiving. You can also scoop up some unique, last-minute, lovingly home-made, West Ealing presents. (Wear reindeer headdress if possible - or at least a Sarah Lund jumper. You know it make sense.)
