Children Under 16 Go Free At Watermans In August!

From chick flicks to nature documentary, there's something to entertain everyone

August is a great month to be under 16 at Watermans. With school over and so many films to enjoy, you won’t want to sit at home watching day time telly.

They have a great selection, including the ultimate feel good movie Mamma Mia! Inspired by the storytelling magic of Abba’s songs, you’ll be singing and dancing all the way home.

One for the girls, from the director of Bend It Like Beckham Gurinder Chadha, Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging tells the story of Georgia’s aim of getting a sex-god for a boyfriend and throwing the greatest 15th birthday party, but will her embarrassing parents let her?

One for the guys, Man On Wire is an amazing documentary of French tightrope walker Phillippe Petit whose illegal high wire routines include New York’s World Trade Centres in 1974. ''Thrilling and profound, the movie reaches great heights.'' Time Out

Another great film from the director of March Of The Penguins, The Fox And The Child, which is part nature documentary and part fairytale, it tells the sweet story of a girl who befriends a fox and the magic that ensues. As much for adults as kids!
