Enjoy Shakespeare and A Pint

Watch A Midsummer Night's Dream at the pub

Following the extraordinary success of Twelfth Night in 2013, Permanently Bard returns in association with Fuller's Inn's to present A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C., the London brewer and premium pub company is delighted to open its doors for another year of ‘Shakespeare in our very own garden’.

This year sees the theatre company interpret of one of Shakespeare’s most notable plays: A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Unrequited love, mistaken identity and magical transformations, A Midsummer Night’s Dream portrays the events surrounding the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and Hippolyta. This comedy play is famous for its ability to make the audience believe anything is possible. Permanently Bard is known for its raucous, interactive and fast paced adaptations. However, this performance will involve a surprise twist that will keep everyone on the edge of their seats.

Returning to the Rose and Crown and Duke of Kent in Ealing this year’s tour also includes pub gardens as far west as The Boater in Bath and as far south as The White Buck at Burley.

Matt Snell, Head of Operations at Fuller’s, says: “We are extremely proud of Fuller’s partnership with Permanently Bard and we are excited about this year’s production. Sean, cast and crew are set to amaze this summer with their own take on a literary classic.”
