A new film to mark the first anniversary of the riots in Ealing

A special anniversary event will be held on the 8th August at OPEN Ealing to remember the riots that took place last year and all those affected.

Kris Thompson, a film maker who documented the most important footage of the Ealing riot has directed a feature length film called 'Untouchable'

About the film:

An ambitious child of a single parent faces a future of no prospects. Burdened as a father figure to his younger brother, unable to better himself and make his mother proud, he has to inform his mother he has lost his benefit. After an argument with his mother leaves him homeless and close to breaking point, he meets up with his friends and heads into Ealing on the most notorious of evenings. -- IMDb Plot: Untouchable (2012)

Also a special memorial installation by Jack Jones and Mohamed-el-Haddi to accompany the screening.
