Music festival supporting Shooting Star charity
Back for another year Ploughfest at The Plough Inn Ealing returns over the August Bank Holiday Weekend in aid of the Shooting Star Chase Children’s Hospice Care (Shooting Star Chase).
Starting on Saturday 23 August for three days, there will be free live music with lots of family-friendly activities. Featuring 13 bands over Saturday, Sunday and Monday, this festival will showcase the very best in local talent.
But this festival will be about more than just listening to fantastic live music, there will also be the opportunity to taste bespoke cocktails made on demand and a wide variety of exciting craft beers for tasting, including Fuller’s very own craft lager, Frontier. The grounds of The Plough will be filled with things to do including a BBQ, free supervised children’s entertainment provided by Party Popperz, face painting, dancing, arts, crafts, and even a visit from Micky Mouse.
There will also be a charity raffle on Monday 25 August with an array of amazing prizes, to raise much needed funds for Shooting Star Chase.
Manager of The Plough Inn, Chris Bosse, said: “The whole team at The Plough is really looking forward to this weekend. There’s something for everyone and while you’re enjoying listening to the great music, or the kids are having fun, you can be happy in the knowledge you’re helping a great cause at the same time.”
