Films 23-25th July
After eighteen successful months in operation, Pitshanger Pictures launches its first ever Summer Film Season between 23rd July and 25th July.
The festival opens with a short Charlie Chaplin film with live musical accompaniment.
Chaplin was educated locally in the Hanwell part of Ealing. This will be followed by the Marx's brothers "A night at the Opera"
Further delights follow with classic films, recent releases and children’s films meaning there is something for everyone.
We even launch our first ever Scream! session which is for those with babies under one year old who can bring their babies with them to the showing.
Based at St Barnabas church in Ealing, Pitshanger Pictures exists to inform, entertain and strengthen community in North Ealing by screening films that stimulate conversation and discussion on questions in life. It was partly formed in response to the still empty cinema site in central Ealing - a matter of ongoing local distress.
