'Memory' by Ealing London Independent Photographers
A present moment is fleeting and soon becomes a memory. Over time, a
memory put together with other memories tells a story. Shared with
        others,
a memory can bond us together; it can be something joyful to hold on to…
or it can be something dark and foreboding to be pushed from our mind.
Some memories remain as clear as day, while others fade with time.
Every photograph is in one sense a memory - but to what degree do the things we photograph then shape our memory and the stories we tell?
In this exhibition, photographers from Ealing London Independent Photography explore the notion of memory, and its many layers and themes.
Hung in the beautiful space of St Mary's Church the photographs are suspended in mid air in this space whose walls echo the trace of many memories of its own.
