From John Donne to Eric Clapton, poets have wondered what follows on after this life and responded with music of serene beauty and awesome wonder. This programme includes music by Brahms, Fauré, Byrd, and exciting British composers Will Todd and Jonathan Dove: the newly installed £400,000 organ in St Barnabas will make its considerable voice heard, played by Timothy Wakerell (St Paul’s Cathedral).
