Laura Victoria Wows Audience at OPEN Ealing

First Friday music concert

What should have been a duet turned in to a stunning solo performance by Laura Victoria as her playing partner Sarah-Jane Miller was too unwell to travel to OPEN Ealing for the June First Friday concert. The lunchtime audience was treated to Laura’s soaring voice and highly skilled cello playing.

At first the cello might seem an odd choice of instrument to accompany her modern take on folk music but it worked beautifully. Her voice is so expressive and soared and dipped, delighting the audience.

Laura’s hour long set included many of her own songs interspersed with at some folk and jazz classics. Whether singing unaccompanied or making the cello fill the air with a multitude of sounds, Laura was compulsive listening - www.lauravictoriamusic.com
