The event is expected to attract approximately 4,000 runners as well as thousands of spectators and hundreds of volunteers  from the local community.  The official charity for the race is Epilepsy Action for many runners raising money for charity.

The roads which the event will pass through will be closed to traffic, with the exception of Ruislip Road East where traffic will be allowed westbound from Argyle Road. There will be a rolling road closure in operation and where possible the road will be re-opened 15 minutes after the last runner has passed by.

Road closures will be in effect from 8am on the day of the race, with limited access out of the area up until 15 minutes before the first runner passes by.

The organising committee and Ealing Council do appreciate that some residents will be inconvenienced by the road clousres in place for the safety of all and would like to thank residents for their understanding in this matter.
