A Bigger and Better St Barnabas Frost Fair

A new venue and more activities at this year's celebration

This year the St Barnabas Frost Fair is on Friday, November 25 from 5.30pm to 9pm and will be markedly different to those held in the past.

Firstly, it will be bigger so it will be held in the church - specially decorated - to give us more space; secondly it will be even better with many new attractions added to the established favourites.

The many attractions include a Centenary Raffle with numerous highly desirable prizes, a lucky Admissions Raffle for a bottle of champagne, vintage jewellery, Christmas table decorations, cakes and produce, book stall with advent calendars, Bottle Tombola and a licensed bar.

Additionally, there will be plenty for the children with a Snow Disco and Fancy Dress Parade in the Main Hall at 5.30 pm with prizes, followed by seasonal craft activities, the Innovation Dance performance at 6.45pm and, of course, Father Christmas.

The Food Market will provide a tasty menu with two sittings – children’s food earlier followed by more ‘grown up’ food in a second sitting.

Finally, throughout the evening, music will be provided by the Gospel Choir and a Brass Band finishing with Sing-Along a Carol at the end of the Fair.
