Flower Power - Entries Invited For Ealing In Bloom

---

From allotments to balconies - if it's growing you're in with a chance

Everyone in the community is being encouraged to enter this year's Ealing in Bloom competition - schools, businesses, community groups...it's not about the setting, but what you've done with it for this one.

The annual competition is open to all residents, with categories ranging from best balconies and patios to best pub and commercial premises.

Judges will be looking for the 'wow factor' for each entry. The size of the garden or premises will have no bearing on the competition. What will be considered is the thinking behind it and the environmental benefit.

The deadline for allotment entries is 21 May. For all other categories, entries must be received by 28 May.

Entry forms are available from town halls, libraries or from Ealing in Bloom, 13 Rockford Avenue, Perivale UB6 8AH.
