New Line Up this Friday
Comedy Downstairs at the Drayton returns on Friday March 26 with a great line-up, featuring the brilliant and hilarious comedy referee Ivan Steward, and the Des Lynam of the comedy circuit David James, (no relation to the former England goalkeeper).
We also have a certain Andre Vincent headlining.
Vincent's individual style has earned him a Saturday night show on Channel 4 as well as three sell-out runs at the Edinburgh festival, countless radio shows, presenter spots on two award-nominated television programmes and regular appearances on TV panel games.
Included among many highlights in his career are playing himself in 'Byker Grove'; opening for Bob Hope; teaching Cliff Richard to unicycle and performing at a Vietnamese refugee camp in the South China Sea - by order of the Chinese Government.
Vincent's numerous TV credits include: 'Andre Vincent - Hurrah for Cancer' (BBC3); 'The Late Edition (BBC3) ''Harry Hill's Fruit Fancies' (BBC2) 'Edinburgh Nights' (ITV); and 'Lee Evans Christmas Special' (ITV) 'The Comedy Store' (Channel 5).
