Lee Mack Downstairs at the Drayton

Warm -up gig for live tour

Lee Mack's appearance is a warm-up for his biggest ever live tour which starts in December, making over 60,000 tickets available across 50 dates in the UK and Ireland. And the tickets are like gold dust.

Mack is one of the most celebrated and talented comics in the country. His last sold-out solo tour was nominated for Best Live Stand Up Tour at the 2006 British Comedy Awards. Extra dates were added in November 2007 to coincide with the release of his first DVD - Lee Mack Live.

Mack is a BAFTA-winning stand-up, writer and star of BBC ONE’S hugely popular primetime sitcom Not Going Out (Royal Television Society and Golden Rose award-winner), is to embark on a brand new stand-up tour making over 60,000 tickets available across 50 dates in the UK and Ireland.   Following the sell-out success of his previous tour (Lee Mack Live - 2007), Lee Mack - Going Out sees the comic again take to the stage with his trademark razor-sharp wit from 3rd December 2009.

In addition to his incredible success as a stand-up, Mack has become a major comedy force on TV and radio. His BAFTA winning contribution to The Sketch Show (ITV1) was followed by a stint of hosting They Think Its All Over (BBC One) and two series of The Lee Mack Show on BBC Radio 2 (nominated for a Sony Award).

Autumn 2006 saw the successful launch of his own sitcom Not Going Out on BBC One with the first series winning both the Break-Through Award - Behind the Screen at the RTS Awards and the Gold Rose D'or award for Best Sitcom. The hugely popular second series aired autumn 2007 with the third broadcast on BBC One in early 2009.

Mack is a team captain on Would I Lie To You (BBC One) appearing alongside David Mitchell and Angus Deayton. He has also appeared on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and twice on The Royal Variety Performance.
