Classic Cinema Club

Films every Friday at Ealing Town Hall

Established nearly 2 years ago the Classic Cinema Club Ealing has shown some of the world’s greatest classic films from different countries and from very famous film producers.

Within the last 6 months we are cited by Time Out in their “Critic’s Choice” and “Film Club” rubric.

We care and are committed to fairness and equality in the films we show to the people who support and collaborate with us (Ealing and London Universities, Local Community Associations, shops and London Cultural Centres)

We aim to make going to the cinema an all round entertaining experience by teaming together our monthly theme’s programme with atmospheric additions. For example the theme “Femmes Fatales” will include a silent movie with live piano music, some films have and will be shown in different locations around Ealing and near London (Ealing Studio, outdoor private garden, the Nehru Centre and some more surprising places) We invite many directors of classic and recent films for Q&A sessions on a regular basis and thanks to our links with universities we shall be showing end of the year students’ films. In order to keep on making your experience more refreshing there are opportunities after the films to join some of our theme’s appropriate parties.

Films coming up in the next few months are Hitchcock’s, Cult classics, Documentaries, Risk Taking, Literary Adaptation, Cannes festival’s, Shorts, Unclassified films etc…..

Our films are shown in their original versions with English subtitles every Friday of the month (Except August) at 7:30pm in Ealing Town Hall.

Please look on our website : www.classiccinemaclub.co.uk  or for our advertisements in Libraries, Town Halls and shops in Ealing and around for programme of events.

We are also welcoming the news that the commercial cinema in Ealing will rise from its own ashes and are sure it will complement, even assist, the further development of our sustainable Classic Cinema Club.

Thank you for your support of Independent Cinema Associations as well as Local Community and Cultural Associations.

OUR CINEMA CLUB IS YOUR CINEMA CLUB, LET THE SHOW CONTINUE……
