Returning for its 34th year, the Ealing Beer Festival is being held in Walpole Park again from Wednesday 9 - Saturday 12 July.

Organised by the West Middlesex branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), it claims to be London’s largest outdoor beer festival.

It will offer around 300 real ales, 50 ciders and perries, plus keg beers, wines, and a selection of world beers.

Festival organiser Ben Hart said, “The Ealing Beer Festival has become a popular community event that also welcomes visitors from across London and beyond. It’s an opportunity for people to try a wide selection of beers, ciders and perries, and for those who like what they find, two free pints are on offer to non-CAMRA members who sign up at the festival.”

The festival is run entirely by volunteers – approximately 250 of them – and takes place in a big top style marquee in the park, which is a short walk from central Ealing and a large variety of public transport links.

Light entertainment will be available on all days, as will a wide selection of food including pies and pasties, sausages, curry, dumplings and rice bowls, with a range of dietary requirements covered.

Admission includes a souvenir programme and a reusable souvenir cup. Drinks are paid for at the bar by debit or credit card, or mobile.

Ben added, “This is a big year for anniversaries, with the nearby Brent River Park marking 50 years. It’s also the 50th anniversary of Hanwell Zoo, and the 200th anniversary of the railways. With all of these located on the River Brent, we chose a capybara and a viaduct to appear on our 2025 logo – which will be decorating the souvenir cup handed out as part of the entry fee.”

Ealing Beer Festival is open to all, with admission £8 for CAMRA members or £10 for non-members, and entry after 8.30pm charged at £5. Opening times are 12 noon until 10.30pm Wednesday to Friday; 12 noon to 8pm on Saturday.

Ealing Beer Festival is sponsored by The Five Points Brewing Company, Wetherspoons Ruislip Manor, Portobello Brewing, Southwark Brewing Company and Perivale Brewery.

The Campaign for Real Ale is a national organisation which promotes real ale, cider and perry and traditional British pubs and clubs.
