Council agree to match Lottery funding

Ealing Conservative Councillors have welcomed the news that the Council is to match heritage lottery funding which has been secured for Walpole Park.

Ealing has been granted £2.4M Heritage Lottery Funding towards the £5M transformation of Walpole Park.

On the 13 September, Cabinet agreed to allocate £2M match funding.

Local Conservative Ward Councillor, Ann Chapman said:

"We are doubly delighted that the Council has decided to accept the Heritage Lottery Grant and commit to the match funding, promised by the previous Conservative Administration.

''Walpole Park is full of heritage and character and we are pleased that it will be restored for residents to enjoy and appreciate for years to come."
