TweetStock - Meet Your Ealing Neighbours

West London's biggest Social Media event - the Tweetup is bigger than ever

It's been dubbed TweetStock - the Twitter equivalent of Woodstock - and it's happening tonight in the Rose and Crown in Ealing.

For those who don't yet know a Tweetup is the chance to meet up  - in REAL LIFE! -with local people who use the social networking site Twitter.

It was started in 2009 by local Ealing journalist Mark Hillary and has grown to become the biggest digital media event in West London.

Mark has now moved to Brazil but as Twitter has no geographical boundaries - and with the help of a few friends- he has managed to set up a Tweetup on his return trip home.

Tonight in the Rose and Crown pub in W5 there will be two fabulous bands - Brace Yourself and The Bible Code Sundays.

There will be an auction (and collections) in aid of the Richard Mannington Bowes Relief Fund, a chance to win a Kindle, plenty of opportunities to meet your neighbours and ....drink.
