Elderly Woman Hit By Train at Ealing Broadway


Pensioner sustained head injuries

A woman in her 70s has been injured after being hit by a train at Ealing Broadway Station yesterday (Sunday 10th February)

British Transport Police says they were called at 4.11pm to the station.

A spokesman said: ''Medics from the London Ambulance Service also attended and the woman, believed to be in her 70s, was treated at the scene for injuries to her head.

''The woman was then taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, where she remains in a serious condition. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

''The incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious.”

''The line was handed back to Network Rail at 4.40pm.
