More funding to restore Ealing's famous Manor
The Conservative Group on Ealing Council has welcomed the news that the Council has been awarded a £2.9M grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund to restore Pitzhanger Manor.
They say the previous Conservative administration championed heritage and environmental projects, setting up the Queen of the Suburbs Board to ensure that Ealing lived up to its green reputation, and initiated the bid for this funding.
Cllr John Cowing, Walpole Ward Councillor said:
“I am delighted that we have received this Heritage Lottery funding which presents an exciting opportunity to restore Pitzhanger Manor, which is one of our most important heritage building in the Borough.”
Ealing Central and Acton Conservative MP, Angie Bray, said:
"I'm delighted to hear that Ealing has been successful in its bid for a Heritage Lottery Fund grant for Pitzhanger Manor. This really does present a unique opportunity for Ealing and will make a big contribution towards the regeneration of our town centre
