Man Accused of Three Sexual Offences in W5


24-year-old charged after women raped in Blondin Park

A man from Murray Road in W5 has been charged with a number of sex offences including one involving a 12 year old girl.

Myles Thompson-Edwards, 24, is accused in connection with three incidents which occured in the W5 area in 2011 and 2012.

At approximately 1545hrs on 10 February 2011 officers were called following reports of an incident in Creighton Road, W5. A girl, aged 12, was approached by a man who demanded she remove her tights. The girl did so and the man made off from the scene.

On 22 January 2012, a 36-year-old woman was attacked in Blondin Park, Windmill Road W5 at approx 0215hrs. A man forced the victim to the ground before sexually assaulting and orally raping her.

On 3 November 2012 officers were called after a 27-year-old woman was attacked by a man in an alleyway off Swyncombe Avenue, W5. The man forced the woman to remove her tights and underwear before orally raping her. He made off from the scene.

Officers from the Met's Sapphire Complex Case Team investigated the incidents and arrested a 24-year-old man at an address in Murray Road, W5 on 4 November.

He was bailed pending further enquiries and charged as above on 8 February He appeared in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Saturday, 9 February and was remanded in custody to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on 18 February. .
