Aimed at kids 5-14 with free books to read
Ealing Readers’ club launches Saturday 31st March 2012 from 11am with Lil Chase (author of Boys for Beginners) joining us to sign copies of her book and give a storytelling workshop.
The club is entirely free and any accompanied child aged 5-14yrs can join (we’ll even give you a membership card!).
We will lend you a proof copy of a new book to take home and read and all we ask in return is that you bring the proof back, so other children can enjoy it, and that you give us a short review (pictures or words) that we will, with your consent, post on our website and display in store.
Every two weeks we will hold an activity morning where children can pop in between 11am and 2pm to swap their proof, show us their review, meet local authors and take part in some activities.
