Another pub calls time in Ealing

The Haven pub opposite Haven Green in Ealing has closed.

Ealing Today called the owners this morning (Wed 10 Feb) and were told it was shut for 'trade purposes'. The company 'spokesman' was reluctant to release any more information but when pressed admitted the pub had closed 'indefinitely'.

Last month Chandlers - opposite Ealing Broadway station - served its last pint.

Both businesses were bought three years ago by the Faucet Inn Pub Company who now appear to be streamlining their portfolio.

Chandlers has already disappeared from the company website although The Haven is still listed.

A statement with further information was requested - but hasn't appeared.

Ealing Today called company HQ again this morning.

A spokesman for the Faucet Inn Pub Company - who would only reveal himself as Darren (from management accounts) - reiterated that the pub had closed 'indefinitely' but wouldn't release any further details.
