Power Cuts In South Ealing

Faults with underground cables

Southern Electric say they have teams on site trying to locate a fault which has caused a number of power cuts in the South Ealing area.

Houses around Ranelagh Road and near St Mary's Church have been affected by intermittent electric supplies over the last three or four days.

A spokesperson for Southern Electric said they hadn't yet found the source of the problem but engineers were working in the area trying to identify the problem cable.

South Ealing electricity sub-station has a mobile generator and is on stand-by in case of total power failure.
