You Could Be A Poet But Just Don't Know It

Competition deadline is Monday 9th November

The deadline for entries to the Ealing Arts and Leisure poetry competition competition has been extended because of the postal strikes.

Entries will now be accepted until Monday November 9 and forms are available to download from the website.

The competition is being judged by author and poet, Kit Wright, whose new books, 'Hoping it might be so' and 'The magic box - collected poems for children' will be on sale this autumn.

Under 18s can submit poems on the theme of 'Green' and the over 18s are being invited to write poems on any themes of their choice.

Winners will receive £500 worth of prizes at the awards ceremony to be held at Ealing Town Hall on Friday December 4.

Forms are available from www.poetry.ealingarts.org.uk and can be hand delivered to 76 Milton Road, W7 ILE or 2 Carlton Road W5 2AW.
