Dramatic skies in Northfields

This rather impressive local photo taken by Peter Gould was not surprisingly picked by the BBC to be featured on their weather watch.

The rainbow is set-off on a backdrop of a dark grey foreboding sky - but look - there's blue beyond.

Hopefully a sign of better times ahead?
