Tom Bright Brings Acclaimed Songwriting to Perivale Brewery
Venue seeks to support live music and encourage visits to Horsenden Farm

Perivale Brewery will host singer‑songwriter Tom Bright on Saturday, 1 August. The performance, running from 4:30 PM to 8 PM at Horsenden Farm, forms part of the brewery’s ongoing effort to revive Ealing’s live music scene and encourage visitors to the farm despite the hoardings erected around the site last December.
Bright’s appearance marks a return to grassroots venues after a remarkable year that has seen him perform at Glastonbury Festival, The London Palladium, and on BBC’s The One Show. Once the UK’s youngest pub landlord, Bright has built a reputation as one of Britain’s most compelling contemporary songwriters — praised by Radio X’s John Kennedy as “one of the UK’s most moving songwriters” and described by BBC Introducing’s Dean Jackson as “a star in the making.”
Armed with a guitar signed by Johnny Marr and John Squire, Bright’s performances blend emotional honesty with sharp storytelling, drawing on a life shaped by resilience and creativity. His catalogue includes collaborations with The The, production work with Mick Jones of The Clash, and albums produced by Ed Harcourt. His track If I Met Your Shadow spent two years on Spotify’s Most Beautiful Songs in the World playlist, earning him a global following.
Bright’s latest release, Young Old Bloke, revisits early material produced by Jones and Dirty White, while his forthcoming fifth studio album — created with Blaine Harrison of Mystery Jets — promises to continue his evolution as a songwriter of depth and character.
