A huge range of new courses are on offer at OPEN Ealing; photography, islamic geometry, art discussion, creative writing and on Saturday's, a new film group.

Tuesdays 8,15,22 & 29 November Discover the power of Adobe's Lightroom & Photoshop with Ian Rudgewick-Brown (5 week short course). A professional photographer, Ian has taught courses to all levels and will gladly share his tricks and those of these two versatile softwares. You will learn to retouch, enhance and organise your pictures like a pro using UWL's state of the art Mac Labs.

Painting for all abilities and tastes with Mario Lautier Vella (3 classes each week on Mondays AM-PM & Thursday evenings) using acrylics to discover techniques or improve your skills, or even to draw your dreams with a confirmed artist who is also a generous tutor glad to share his knowledge and passion.

Lunchtime Art History discussions with Colette Wilson (2 weekly classes on Mondays & Wednesdays) taking you to Paris at the turn of the 19th Century or Post War to the end of 20th Century through the whole range of arts (literature, painting, sculpture, architecture, cinema etc.). Colette is an erudite lecturer considering sharing and discussing a must. Café lunch included in the ticket.

OPEN Ealing is a community based arts space which aims to promote creativity through performance, classes and workshops.

Most of the activities are based at The Orchard Cafe on Singapore Road and take place in the evening or at the weekend.

Discounts are available for low income, students and OAPs.
