NHS workers' efforts recognised after a tough couple of years
NHS workers celebrate their awards
Staff working for the local healthcare trust, including those based at Ealing Hospital recently attended their Staff Excellence Awards
The tireless work of hospital staff was recognised at the event for the London North-West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH).
There were 14 categories including Team of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Unsung Hero, and Lifetime Achievement Award.
Pippa Nightingale, Chief Executive of LNWH, said, “It has been a tough couple of years and everyone should be proud of what they have achieved in often difficult circumstances.
“I see a lot of good work and believe we can now move onto bigger and better things in the future including improving our CQC rating. I am relatively new here and believe we can really step things up with this sort of enthusiasm and willingness to improve.”
