A book by a local author published earlier this year has surged up the Amazon charts after receiving positive feedback from readers.

Consider It Done is the second book by Gavin de Bier and has many connections to the Ealing area including having a character named after the Ealing Half Marathon Race Director, Sandra Courtney.

His critically acclaimed first novel Bobbing Heads, was based in Ealing and the Ealing Half Marathon played an important part in the plot.

Consider It Done appears to be attracting a similar buzz and has reached number two in the Amazon Writing Genre Fiction chart.

Gavin describes the book as an unusual, gripping, fast paced, multi-faceted thriller, and says that, whilst linked to Bobbing Heads, it can be enjoyed without having read that book first.

He said, “Like Bobbing Heads, a key part of Consider It Done is set in Ealing and seeing it so high in an Amazon chart is a nice surprise. I would like to thank everyone in Ealing for their fantastic support over the years and in particular Sandra Courtney and the team at the Ealing Half Marathon, as well as everyone at Ealing Today and your loyal readers.

“I have really enjoyed writing the first two books and have just begun work on the third which will be the follow up to Consider It Done. I hope to have it published early next year – so watch this space!”

Consider it Done and Bobbing Heads can be purchased from Amazon.
