Due to appear before magistrates in August
On Sunday 4 July at around 8.30pm police were called to a residential road in W5 after reports that a man had been spotted with a knife.
A 52 year old old man was arrested in connection with the incident and taken to West London police station for further questioning.
The officers seized a knife found at the scene.
The man was later charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
Nobody was injured.
He is due to appear at Ealing Magistrates Court in August 2010.
