Local people named by the Queen

As well as the celebrities a number of not so well known people have been recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.

In Ealing there's an OBE for Professor Nirmala Rao

Pro-Director (Learning and Teaching) and Professor of Politics, School of Oriental and African Studies. For services to Scholarship. (W5)

And an MBE for Peter Griffith BOURSNELL For services to Fair Access to Higher Education. (W7)
